We will continue to support the installable client on a best effort level and encourage all users to switch to the web interface which is officially supported by our IT Service Desk. While the installable client remains an option for users with the new ClassAPPs 2.0 platform the College's IT department will no longer be supporting it. The web interface negates the need to use the VMware Horizon client moving forward.
This new version of the platform addresses the deficiencies of the original platform and also deploys a number of new enhancements including a new web interface that can be used with any modern HTML5 enabled web browser ( IE – Chrome, Edge or Firefox).
